Liu Jian: Hi, Song Lin. What’s the career you hope to have in the future?
Song Lin: I desire to be an advanced practice nurse in the future. When I was a child, I was drawn to nursing work.
Liu Jian: Why do you want to be an advanced practice nurse?
Song Lin: Advanced nursing professionals are in short supply in our country, especially in remote areas. Many elderly people and children lack access to proper medical care. I want to do my part to help improve the situation.
Liu Jian: Cool! Nurses are an asset to a country. I hope you can realise your dream.
Song Lin: Thank you. So, what do you want to be in the future?
Liu Jian: I want to become an architect. I’m studying architecture and I’m keen on it.
Song Lin: How did you fall in love with it?
Liu Jian: I read many books about famous architects and their stories motivated me. I know being an architect is certainly not easy, but I enjoy being able to create different designs.
Song Lin: I think you have design talent.
